We are currently looking for a control architect to work with the Control Command BU.
This entity provides nuclear operators with the command control capabilities they need for their reactors in operation or under construction.
The I&C BU has a wealth of experience, having installed more than 300 instrumentation and control systems on reactors of all types worldwide.
The solutions offered to its customers range from safety control systems to operational control systems, from nuclear instrumentation to simulators, from human-machine interface design to human factors engineering, from international control engineering expertise to operational support services.

Job description

Your missions : 

Integrated into a team of engineers from the "Architecture and Global I&C" competence center of the I&C Business Unit, you will be required to perform architectural engineering and control services for future nuclear power plants or those in operation.

 

You intervene from the expression of functional requirements and the analysis of standards applicable to the specification of the detailed architecture with a careful look at the development phases of elementary systems.

 

Thus, your main activities will cover:

 

• Technical specification analysis and clarifications

• Analysis of feasibility of meeting requirements and contribution to activity figures.

• Analysis of applicable standards and definition of activities to be carried out on the projects concerned,

• Drafting of technical requirements and their assignment to the various systems concerned,

• The overall design of the technical solution architecture meeting the needs,

• Coordination, monitoring and surveillance of outsourced activities,

• Application of systems engineering methods, including system modeling (architecture, functions...).

 

Due to the complexity of the systems, you will have to exchange with many internal and external interfaces: process divisions, security and mechanical systems, subcontractors, teams in charge of the execution of intervention files on site...

 

Occasional trips to France or abroad are to be planned according to the different projects undertaken.

Profile

Your Profile : 

You graduated from a master’s degree in civil engineering with a specialty in control command (automation, industrial computing...).

You have a first successful significant experience of at least 5 years in a technical environment of a complex system, and in a field with strong regulatory constraints (nuclear, aeronautics, rail, space...).

 

Desired technical skills:

• Control command, automation or industrial software

• Automation architectures

• Information systems, networks,

• Industrial IT.

• Use of standards, application to critical systems

• Requirements Engineering,

• Systems Modeling

• Systems engineering skills.
